The 6.7 Powerstroke engine was introduced for the 2011 model year. This new engine was designed and built by Ford and marked a departure from their long relationship with diesel engine supplier Navistar. This class will detail the integral mechanical features of the 6.7 and include scan tool tests and diagnostics. This class also focuses on the maintenance aspect of the 6.7, as it is an important aspect to the longevity of this Ford Engine. The Ford F150 entered its eleventh generation in 2004 with a complete redesign. Its long successful run has included earning North American Truck of the Year Honours from several major magazines and fleet management organizations.
