INJ-125 Ford EEC V OBDII Operation & Diagnostics

This engine management course details Ford’s latest development in Fuel Injection – EEC V System. This upgrade from previous fuel injection systems was a requirement for OBD II compatibility. Due to the complex interlinking of these two subjects and the vast amount of material to be covered., the two courses have been combined, and will be presented in two parts. In Part 1, students will learn the major differences in a comparison of the new EEC V system with the older EEC IV. The instructor will utilize an EEC V simulator to illustrate the diagnostic capabilities of the new system, highlighting OBD II. An explanation of how Ford upgraded to EEC V in order to be OBD - compatible is also provided. In Part 2 of this course, diagnostics will be covered in much greater depth and detail. EEC V will be used on all OBD II vehicles, so be prepared.
